The permanent secretary for Central province Mr Mwanakamwe has challenged graduates of skills training centers to establish their own businesses and create employment for themselves and for others.
This was during Ngungu youth Resource Centre graduation ceremony today which saw over 243 students graduating with certificates in skills such as tailoring, catering, home management…e.t.c
Mr Mwanakapww stated that possibilities are endless for people with skills, therefore encouraging them to establish business as opposed to waiting for white collar jobs.
Mr Mwanakapwe highlighted that students could establish business among themselves, explaining that students graduating in agriculture could supply graduates in catering and those with in carpentry should supply Government with desks with produce – creating a win – win situation.
He has since urged graduates to explore funding opportunities in provisions such as the Constituency Development Fund – CDF for capital.
The permanent secretary thanked the New Dawn Government under his Excellency the president Dr Hakainde Hichilema for the increased funding under CDF, he therefore urged graduates to take advantage of the funds to set up successful businesses.
