Artist Y Celeb has embarked on a campaign to advocate for increased access to clean and safe water in his childhood locality of Chambishi on the Copperbelt Province.
Y Celeb has accepted to perform at a show for free in order to help raise money for the construction of three boreholes in Chambishi’s Zambia Compound.
The Super Government has partnered with Super Kena and Chambishi community Chikabala Kaleta on the show set for 23 October at Chambishi Stadium.
In an interview with Radio Icengelo News, Umulolo challenged people with money to help the less privileged in society.
“I don’t like seeing people suffer, that is why I am getting involved in raising money for water. If you are somebody in the community, come forward and help the people in need,” he said.
“People say there is money in Zambia but many people are suffering. Let’s help the people have access to water because water is life. Without water people are dead already,” Y Celeb added.
