The Copper Queens will face Brazil and two other opponents from Europe and Africa in a series of International friendly games as part of preparations for the 2024 Olympics.
Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Communications Manager SYDNEY MUNGALA says the team will utilise the upcoming June FIFA window to play one of the three opponents.
He says the remaining fixtures will be played before the Olympics women’s football tournament commences.
Speaking to ZNBC Sport, MUNGALA also disclosed that Copper Queens Coach BRUCE MWAPE and team Manager CLEMENTINA MAZUBA will next week leave for France to conduct a survey on the hotel the use and training facilities.
He said this is in line with the standard practice by the World Football Governing Body- FIFA- prior to a major tournament.
