FOOTBALL Association of Zambia-FAZ President, Andrew Kamanga, has asked soccer fans to support the men’s national football team as they prepare for January’s Africa Cup of Nations Tournament.
In his weekly write-up, Kamanga notes that the Chipolopolo’s preparations for the tournament are underway with the team entering camp in the next few days in Lusaka.
He says the team will then head to Saudi Arabia for the international camp where they will play some friendly matches.
Kamanga adds that Saudi Arabia is logistically logical as other teams will set up pre-tournament camps there which makes it easy to network on friendly games.
He states that it also provides a quiet corner to prepare better for the assignment ahead of the tournament.
Kamanga says Zambia has a group of players that have grown together over time and are hungry to write their own history, hence must be supported.
